Being a KelAir Campotel Campsite Courier is not your typical 9–5, Monday-to-Friday job. It can be challenging and demanding, but it is also incredibly rewarding, and many of our Couriers return year after year.

The Role

Your main responsibility is to clean and prepare our mobile homes to exceptionally high standards and provide outstanding customer service. You will welcome guests, help them settle in, provide local information, explain campsite facilities and services, and deal with any queries or problems throughout their stay.

You will also maintain the Campotel Reception Area, which must always be clean, welcoming and well presented. Uniform must be worn while on duty.

Knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage, particularly when dealing with campsite management or emergencies.

Main Duties

• Meticulously cleaning and preparing mobile homes, including making beds. This can take up to 3 hours per mobile home, with up to 2 cleans on a typical day. Some days may have no cleans depending on bookings.
• Welcoming guests and explaining their accommodation and campsite facilities.
• Providing local information and recommendations.
• Completing daily paperwork and reports.
• Dealing professionally and sensitively with guest queries, problems and emergencies.
• Carrying out small maintenance jobs and changing gas.
• Managing linen, including towels, duvet covers and pillowcases.
• Maintaining the Campotel Reception Area.
• Keeping in regular contact with guests throughout their holiday.

Eligibility: All applicants must hold a European passport and be registered with either the Irish or French social security system.

• FREE uniform, including polo shirts, half-zips, fleece, rain jacket, shorts, T-shirts, vest tops and name badge.
• €14.15 per hour based on a 35 hour week. 
• Valuable experience in customer service, communication, organisation, time management, languages, problem solving, crisis management, maintenance and working abroad.
• Extensive training once you arrive in France.
• Ongoing support and feedback from your Area Manager in France and Head Office in Ireland. Our Management Team have all previously worked as Couriers and understand the role first-hand.

Important Information

A €300 accommodation deposit per person is required and is fully refundable upon completion of your contract.

Paid return travel is also provided upon completion of your full contract.
